Anti-Anaplastic Lymphoma Kinase (ALK)
Anaplastic lymphoma kinase(ALK) belongs to receptor tyrosine kinases, it is involved in Chromosomal translocations found in different diseases such as anaplastic large cell lymphomas (ALCLs) and non small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The constitutively expressing active fusion proteins are accountable for most of anaplastic large cell non-Hodgkin?s lymphomas. The EML4-ALK fusion gene is responsible for approximately 3-5% of NSCLC. EML4-ALK-rearrangement in NSCLC is exclusive and not found in EGFR- or KRAS-mutated
