Anti-C4D
C4d is a 45 kDa degradation fragment of complement component C4 and a stable marker of classical and lectin pathway activation. In pathology, C4d IHC is a highly specific indicator of antibody-mediated rejection (AMR), showing diagnostic utility in renal, cardiac, and pulmonary allografts. In addition, C4d highlights follicular dendritic cell networks in tonsil germinal centers, providing a reliable internal positive control, and has been explored in autoimmune disease and tumor microenvironments.
