Anti-Calretinin
Calretinin (CALB2) is a 29 kDa calcium-binding protein expressed in neurons, mesothelial cells, and sex cord–stromal elements. It is a sensitive immunohistochemical marker of mesothelial differentiation, aiding in the distinction of malignant mesothelioma from adenocarcinoma. In the testis, calretinin highlights Sertoli cells, rete testis epithelium, and sex cord–stromal tumors, while remaining negative in germ cell tumors, making it valuable for differential diagnosis. The CALB2/7029R rabbit polyclonal antibody is validated for FFPE tissues, supporting reliable use in diagnostic pathology.
