Anti-MCM7
The protein encoded by this gene is a highly conserved mini chromosome maintenance protein (MCM) which is essential for the initiation of eukaryotic genome replication. The hexametric protein complex formed by the MCM proteins is a key component of the pre-replication complex which is involved in the formation of replication forks and with the recruitment of other DNA replication related proteins. Meier-Gorlin Syndrome 1 and Follicular Adenoma are the diseases associated with MCM7. The related pathways are Mitotic G1-G1/S phases and CDK-mediated phosphorylation and removal of Cdc6.
