Anti- MSH6
MSH6 (MutS homolog 6) is a 160 kDa nuclear protein encoded on chromosome 2p16, functioning with MSH2 (MutSα complex) in DNA mismatch repair. Loss or mutation leads to microsatellite instability (MSI), associated with Lynch syndrome and sporadic cancers. In colon tissue, MSH6 shows strong nuclear staining in colonic crypt epithelium and stromal cells, serving as an internal control. Loss of tumor nuclear staining with preserved stromal positivity indicates MSH6 deficiency. The MSH6/13194R rabbit polyclonal antibody is validated for FFPE sections, supporting reliable diagnostic and research use.
